An emergency notification system requires a strong communications infrastructure. To deliver thousands of time critical messages needs the right combination of scalability, capability and bandwidth. To simplify the creation of mass notification and emergency notification systems, Alerting Hub wraps all the essentials into a flexible, programmable platform – all accessible through our simple SendAlert API.
Emergency notification systems are large platforms. They are designed to help organisations inform employees and the public of unplanned, time critical and significant events. In a crisis these systems provide alerts and instruction to improve safety, security and ultimately save lives.
Essentially large numbers of typically one-way messages are transmitted, over a short timeframe, through a variety of channels – SMS, voice, email. Whether it is a school snow day, hurricane or other ‘danger to life’ event, these systems empower recipients to take the right course of action.
Send out 1000s of alerts in as quick a timeframe as possible.
Multiple servers in multiple locations
Multiple providers available to spread load of all outbound calls, text messages and emails made through the PSTN and over SIP
Bring greater flexibility to your solutions and help safeguard against alerts being sent by mistake
Full scalability in the cloud. As the demands of your application increase the Alerting Hub platform will automatically scale up to match
Enable alerting or personalised automated messages to be generated automatically without the need for voice recording.
SIP cause code reporting – you will know if it is temporarily unavailable, or you have mistyped the number. Temporary fails will automatically be re called
The recipient list and delivery workflow is at the heart of any emergency notification system. Placing the call and then playing a message on pick-up, is a typical voice call workflow. There is the option to ask the called party to confirm receipt. In addition recipients can request to speak to an agent or enter a conference. The informational message is available through TTS or a voice recording.
It’s a more simple, one step workflow for SMS and email messages. Delivery reports are generated to confirm which messages made it to the recipients’ phones.
Whatever your system requires we will help you work through how best to integrate your preferred messaging channels using our simple API.
