Data Deletion

If you are an existing business customer of Alerting Hub

If you need to remove data under your direct control such as stored contact lists, recipient lists, scheduled alerts and so forth, you can do this directly using your API key and utilising the ‘delete stored content API’ as detailed in the Delete stored content API page.

If you wish to completely delete your account or delete an API key within your account please send an email with a subject line of “Account management” with full contact information and details of the request to contact@alertinghub.net or fill out the contact request form or contact your Alerting Hub representative directly. We will verify your request within 24 hours and, once verified the necessary action will be taken with 2 hours.

As part of this action any associated, stored data, such as: contact lists, audio files and deferred alerts will also be removed from the system. If, as part of your request, you ask for all records to be removed we will also delete any historical data we hold in the form of call and messaging data records and audit trail information associated with your API key or customer account.

Please note that the removal of any such information above will only be carried out if it is not contrary to any legal obligation on Alerting Hub’s part.

If you are a private citizen

If you have received a message or phone call that you believe came from Alerting Hub that you did not want or expect and you wish us to remove any data about you that we might hold, such as telephone number or email address then please let us know. We will also pass on your request to the business who originally used Alerting Hub to contact you.

Please contact us by sending an email to contact@alertinghub.net or by completing the contact request form. The subject line should contain the words “Unwanted communication” and the email should give enough detail (such as date, time, message or voice call description) and the contact information (phone number or email address that was used by Alerting Hub to reach you).

We will verify your request within 24 hours and, once verified the necessary action will be taken with 2 hours. We will, if appropriate then contact the Alerting Hub business customer that initiated the communication to you and forward on your request for action to them.

If you made an enquiry via this web site

If you are a potential customer of Alerting Hub who has made an enquiry via this web site and you wish for us to remove you from our mailing lists or records as such, please send an email with a subject line of “Data deletion request” with full contact information and details of the request to contact@alertinghub.net or fill out the contact request form or contact your Alerting Hub representative directly, if you have one already assigned.

We will verify your request within 24 hours and, once verified the necessary action will be taken with 2 hours.
