Alerting Hub started with a thought: ‘Is it possible to reach and interact with a large number of people without having to make it complicated?‘.
If you search for content providers of SMS, email or voice services you’ll see many results; some have more features than others but they all have the same problems in common:
Alerting Hub is different, our focus is on each ‘alert’ or ‘event’ as an entity in its own right. Let’s say you need to send 500 people an SMS, 5000 people an email and call 300 people all for the same business reason (for instance: product recall, school closure, invoice chasing, the list goes on) then you can do that with one call to the Alerting Hub API. Just to be clear, that’s one, single, request to our platform; we’ll do the rest.
When we focus on the whole event (or alert as we like to call it), rather than just delivering the message, that allows us to provide you with features more useful to your business needs.
Intelligent scheduling of an alert for a future time, with the option of regular repeats.
Change who receives what message based on the time of day, day of the week or month and so on.
Send automated follow-ups based on who has or has not responded to previous alerts.
Trigger the issuing of a previously saved alert by clicking on a unique short-link or sending in an SMS keyword. Useful for those emergency / panic-button situations.
When we have news relating to an alert we can call you on a webhook, or you can collect via our API, or if you’re not interested in such news, we’ll just tidy it up for you.
As well as sending the same SMS or email to a group of people in one go, we can also tailor the content of those messages, including things such as the current date/time or per-recipient items like recipient names or any other data you send us as part of the alert.
Whether you want to send a simple text alert or an omnichannel approach for mass unified alerting, it’s all wrapped up in one simple API. What’s more we also monitor and track responses and tie those back to your API call, allowing you to easily marshal results and replies.

With Alerting Hub, full scalability is provided in the cloud. As the demands of your application increase the Alerting Hub platform will automatically scale up to match. Redundancy is built in at both a service provision and platform level, where failover is established between providers to ensure calls still get through and platform instances run in multiple regions to ensure maximum uptime.
